Amongst the content are tips on how to create great visuals, guest bloggers sharing their expertise and content strategy advice. Run by the content marketer and social media expert, Jay Baer, this blog covers everything you’ll need to know as a B2b and B2c marketer. The New York Times best-selling author and digital marketing advisor aims to help you take your social and content from good to great. He hosts weekly podcasts, called social pros, where leading social media managers from big brands around share their insights. The blog carries marketing psychology, industry news, case studies of innovative use of social as well as great practical tips on how to implement your own social and content strategy.

B2B Marketing Insider

Run by results driven marketer, Michael Brenner, this blog aims to help you drive sales, chase leads and gain consumer loyalty. As the head of strategy content marketing platform, NewsCred, Brenner is a thought-leader on this topic. This recently revamped blog has seven strands that cover content marketing, strategy, social media, demand generation, mobile, search marketing and sales alignment. Each post is written by Brenner – he shares his vast insight and thoughts on current issues like why the Oscar-winning actor and director Kevin Spacey will be the keynote speaker at this year’s Content Marketing Institute’s annual conference as well as reviewing books he’s reading right now.

Founded by professor of marketing at the University of Southern California, Allen Weiss, but run by chief content officer and former journalist, Ann Handley, this is an invaluable educational tool (you can even sign up for one of their marketing courses). It is a one-stop shop for marketing related information – from brand management, market research, metrics and ROI (return on investment), SEO, word of mouth and so much more. Author of Content Rules and co-founder of ClickZ.com Handley has a wealth of knowledge about marketing issues. The site produces reports and guides on content marketing as well as devising practical marketing tools, like SmartTools, that help you implement the best strategy from conception to delivery. This is really a great informative site to dip in and out of.
