This provides website visitors with visual impairments or reading difficulties the context they need, especially when using screen readers.

A critical law, the European Accessibility Act (EAA), is coming into effect on June 28, 2025—just about a month away. The goal? To ensure that people with disabilities aren’t excluded from accessing digital products and services, including websites, apps, and online tools like social feeds!

The EAA points to an internationally recognized set of rules called the ‘WCAG 2.1 (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines)’. These guidelines outline exactly how to structure and present digital content to make it accessible for everyone.
