How to display a TikTok video feed on your website

Do you have teenagers at home? If you do, you’ve likely already heard of TikTok.

TikTok has become one of the most popular social media channels in a short time. While brands and organisations are still trying to figure out the best way to get started, more than 500 million people have already signed up for a TikTok account, and the most popular TikTok users have tens of millions of followers.

Are you looking to display a feed of TikTok videos on your website? With Flockler, you can integrate a stream of TikTok videos to any digital service, together with the posts from other social media channels. You can gather videos by any TikTok user or hashtag.

To find content you want to display, you can search for posts from a particular account or hashtag via TikTok’s website. For example, if you were looking for videos with a football hashtag, the URL would be https://www.tiktok.com/tag/football. You can replace /football with any hashtag to find different kinds of content and posts.

Similarly, if you are looking for posts by a specific TikTok user, you can add @ to the URL - and then follow with the name of the user. For example, Loren Gray’s TikTok profile URL is https://www.tiktok.com/@lorengray.

Once you’ve found a post you like, click to open it and copy the URL of the video. You can find the URL at the bottom right corner of the page:

Then navigate back to Flockler’s Content tab and click the TikTok button on the left.

Paste a link to a TikTok video, and a preview will open up. If you are happy with the content, click Publish, and the video appears in your social media feed.

Once you’ve gathered all the videos, click “Display” and select either Wall, Grid, Carousel, or Slideshow layout. Then, you can integrate the feed of TikTok videos to any website (or digital service) in this format.

Perhaps your organisation isn’t active on TikTok just yet. Still, your customers might already use your branded hashtag, or you might already collaborate with a social media influencer with a large number of followers on TikTok. Displaying the best TikTok videos, together with other social media feeds, increases the time spent on your website, and inspires website visitors to learn more about your products and services.

In addition to TikTok video feeds, Flockler helps you to gather and display content with automated feeds from various social media channels - including Instagram. Here’s a list of supported social media sources and content types.
