Embed and display the content of any Facebook Page – why and how?

One of our most popular features enables you to store content posted by any public Facebook Page and display those posts anywhere.

And it's automated while you are sipping soya latte and brainstorming with your marketing team; a social media aggregator like Flockler will help you to gather content that's posted on Facebook Pages and display this content on any digital service, without any manual work. If you don’t want to store all the content from a Page, you can filter the content by keyword or hashtag and display just those pieces of content you want to show.

Why organisations embed and display Facebook feeds on websites?

We listed the top three reasons, and I’m sure you can come up with many more.

1. Fight the Facebook algorithm

Organic reach on Facebook is continuously decreasing - and I’m sure you’ve noticed that too.

It’s a common worry to all marketing professionals that the content they’ve created with blood, sweat and tears ends up at the very bottom of Facebook News Feed where no user will ever find it. Even though people scroll their social media feeds approximately 90 metres per day!

By sharing the content posted on Facebook via other platforms and displaying on your website, you give the piece of content some extra attention and reach. Whether it’s your content or the content of your partners in collaboration, some extra screen time won’t hurt. Facebook and other channels prioritise content with high engagement and traction and resharing posts will increase views, likes and comments.

The social media wall by Deutsche Bundesbank is an excellent example of how organisations can add a vibrant feed of Facebook posts to their websites and other digital services.

2. Show some love to your partners in collaboration

Do you collaborate with other organisations? Do they mention your services?

This feature allows you to save and showcase their content on any digital service - for example, on your website. You get the additional time spent on your website when visitors browse this inspiring content - and also the increase in reach on social channels when partners mention your brand. And your partners get highlighted on your website and get referral traffic too.

It’s a win-win situation.

I’ll give you a great example.

Have you already created influencer marketing campaigns? Often, brands agree on a specific number of posts or the type of content the influencer is going to create. With this feature, you’ll be able to automatically gather posts from the influencer's Facebook Page and display these posts on your homepage or product pages with little effort. Your customers will love to see their favourite sports star or a local hero using your products and services, and displaying the social media feed of this content will inspire site visitors to convert or hit the buy button too!

In addition to influencers, this feature will come in handy if you are partnering with other organisations and businesses and working together to promote a particular topic or cause.

If you don’t want to show all the content from the Facebook Page, you can filter the content by keyword or hashtag and display just those pieces of content. That is perfect if the volume of content is high and only certain pieces of content are relevant to that campaign. Just make sure to inform your partners to add the specific keyword or hashtag to posts!

3. Track and collect the content of your competitors

As I mentioned, this feature allows you to gather the content of any Facebook Page. Yes, also your biggest rivals’.

Of course, you’re not likely to display the content of your competitors on your website but you can use our platform to save all of the content in the background and view that content internally. Perfect for competitor benchmark analysis and everyday snooping!

You can save all the content or tailor the search to your needs. If you want to follow posts mentioning their product or a new technology or you just want to learn more about their take on a specific topic (such as climate change, current elections or whatever you're interested in), you can filter the content using a particular keyword.

Keeping track of others is a great way to come up with new ideas.

A little bonus: you might want to follow the content of other exciting companies too. For example, you could analyse the content of companies that are reaching out to the same target groups as you. Even though your product offering might be completely different, by looking outside of your benchmark box, you will most likely run into some fresh points-of-view and brilliant new ideas.
